$175 (walking)
NOTE: Entries are limited to the first 240 players, including the Defending Champion.

This is a WALKING ONLY event.

Eligibility:

Entry is open to any amateur golfer:

Who is currently an Associate Member of the MGA at the club from which they are playing,
Whose club is a current Member Club of the MGA,
Whose Handicap Index® for 18 holes does not exceed 6.4 at the time of entry, and
Who must be at least 30 years of age as of the first day of competition.

An entry may be rejected at the discretion of the Committee at any time, including after the competition has closed.

NOTE: For eligibility purposes, an MGA Associate Member through the MGA Join On-Line (JOL) program must have a Minnesota connection in addition to JOL membership in order to participate. Examples of connections would be a MN resident (permanent or seasonal), a non-resident student at a MN school, and/or an MGA course connection, validated by a course employee and/or score posting record. The Committee’s decision on such a connection and eligibility is final.

Additional Information

Format:
54-hole, Individual stroke play played at Island View Golf Club and Chaska Town Course.

The player with the lowest score after 54 holes will be the winner. In the event of a tie for the Championship, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff on the course immediately following play.

Players will play each course over the first two days. After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the low 60 scores plus ties. Those making the cut will play Island View Golf Club for the final round.

Schedule:
Monday, August 28 - Round 1: Starting times will begin at 8:00 am at both courses.
Tuesday, August 29 - Round 2: Starting times will begin at 8:00 am at both courses.
Wednesday, August 30 - Round 3: Starting times will begin at 8:30 am.
NOTE: Round 1 Starting times for will be available after registration has closed.

Practice Rounds:
Practice round times may be available on a space available basis. Please contact the Island View Golf Club (952/442-6116) or Chaska Town Course (952/443-3748) and identify yourself as an MGA Mid-Amateur contestant to schedule a time. The fee may be dependent upon the day and time you play.

Driving Range:
Range balls will be provided prior to each round. The ranges will be available at least 60 minutes prior to play.

Food and Beverages:
An awards luncheon will be served following play on Day 3 at Island View GC. In addition, players will receive lunch the day they play Chaska Town Course.
