Golf Carts (Optional):
The use of a golf cart is permitted in the QUALIFYING ROUND and in the FIRST FLIGHT matches. All matches in the CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT are WALKING ONLY. Carts may be prepaid online at the time of registration. Or, the fee may be paid on-site on the day of the tournament.
Eligibility:
Entry is open to any female amateur golfer:
(1) Who is currently an Associate Member of the MGA at the club from which they are playing and
(2) Whose club is a current Member Club of the MGA.
An entry may be rejected at the discretion of the Committee at any time, including after the competition has closed.
NOTE: For eligibility purposes, an MGA Associate Member through the MGA Join On-Line (JOL) program must have a Minnesota connection in addition to JOL membership in order to participate. Examples of connections would be a MN resident (permanent or seasonal), a non-resident student at a MN school, and/or an MGA course connection, validated by a course employee and/or score posting record. The Committee's decision on such a connection and eligibility is final.
Qualifying: All players, excluding the Defending Champion, will play an 18-hole, stroke play qualifying on Day 1 to determine flight assignments and seeding. The top 31 scorers will qualify for the Championship Flight along with the Defending Champion. The remaining players will be placed in the First Flight. If there is a tie for the final spot in the Championship Flight, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff on the course immediately following play.
Championship: 18-holes, Individual, Single elimination Match Play.
Seeding: Championship Flight: The Defending Champion will be seeded #1 with the other places determined by score from the stroke play qualifying round. In the event of a tie at a score, there will be a scorecard playoff following recommended USGA procedures.
First Flight: Places will be determined by the qualifying round scores. In the event of a tie at a score, there will be a scorecard playoff following recommended USGA procedures.

Tuesday, June 20 - AM: Match Play-Round 1: Starting times begin at 7:30 am

Wednesday, June 21 - AM: Championship Qtrfinals: Starting times begin at 7:30am
First Flight Semifinals: Starting times begin 8:02 am
- PM: Championship Semifinals: Starting times begin 12:30 pm
First Flight Championship: Starting time at 12:50 pm
Thursday, June 22 - AM: Championship Match: Starting time at 7:30 am
Practice Rounds:
Practice rounds are available on a space available basis at the discretion of the host facility. Please call the St. Cloud Golf Shop (320/253-1331) and identify yourself as an MGA Women's Match Play contestant to schedule a time. The fee is TBD (walking; cart $20 extra). Practice rounds are limited to PLAYERS only and limited to one per player.
Driving Range:
Range balls will be provided prior to play each day. The range will be open at least 60 minutes prior to the first tee time.
Food & Beverages:
Lunch will be available for no charge between rounds on Tuesday as well as after subsequent rounds of match play.
