NOTE: This Championship is conducted concurrently with the Men's Net Amateur and the Net Team Championship. The total field is limited to 128 players.
Golf Cart (Optional): $40 (2 rounds)
The use of a golf cart is permitted for this event. Carts may be prepaid online at the time of registration or at any time prior to registration closing. Or, the fee may be paid on-site on each day of the tournament.
Entry is open to any female amateur golfer:
(1) Who is currently an Associate Member of the MGA at the club from which they are playing, and
(2) Whose club is a current Member Club of the MGA.
An entry may be rejected at the discretion of the Committee at any time, including after the competition has closed.
NOTE: For eligibility purposes, an MGA Associate Member through the MGA Join On-Line (JOL) program must have a Minnesota connection in addition to JOL membership in order to participate. Examples of connections would be a MN resident (permanent or seasonal), a non-resident student at a MN school, and/or an MGA course connection, validated by a course employee and/or score posting record. The Committee's decision on such a connection and eligibility is final.
36-hole, individual NET stroke play with Stableford scoring.
A tie for first place will be broken by a scorecard playoff as recommended by USGA policy.
There is not a limit to a player's Handicap Index® minimum or maximum in effect; however, the lowest Handicap Index® of the past twelve (12) months will be use to calculate the Course Handicap®. The player's Playing Handicap® will be 75% of the Course Handicap®.
Tuesday, Sept 8, The Pines GC (Woods/Lakes) - Tee times begin at 11 am.
Wednesday, Sept 9, The Preserve GC - Tee times begin at 8:30 am
NOTE: Round 1 Starting times will be available after registration has closed.
Practice rounds are available. Please call the respective Golf Shops and identify yourself as an MGA Net Team contestant to schedule a time. Fee may be dependent on the day and time you play.
Range balls will be provided. The range will open at least 60 minutes prior to play.
Food and Beverages:
Dinner will be available at The PInes clubhouse immediately following play on Tuesday. Lunch will be available at The Preserve clubhouse immediately following play on Wednesday.
