Golf Carts (Optional)
The use of a golf cart is permitted for this event. Carts may be prepaid online at the time of registration. Or, the fee may be paid on-site on the each day of the tournament. Carts will be dispensed on a first come basis with, prepaid at registration, first to receive a cart.
Eligibility:
Entry is open to any female amateur golfer:
(1) Who is currently an Associate Member of the MGA at the club from which they are playing and
(2) Whose club is a current Member Club of the MGA.
(3) Who is at least 50 years old as of the first day of the Championship.
An entry may be rejected at the discretion of the Committee at any time, including after the competition has closed.
NOTE: For eligibility purposes, an MGA Associate Member through the MGA Join On-Line (JOL) program must have a Minnesota connection in addition to JOL membership in order to participate. Examples of connections would be a MN resident (permanent or seasonal), a non-resident student at a MN school, and/or an MGA course connection, validated by a course employee and/or score posting record. The Committee's decision on such a connection and eligibility is final.
Format:
Teams will play 36-holes of four-ball stroke play within their respective flights.
The Champions will be the team in the Championship Flight having the lowest total score after 36 holes. In the event there is a tie for the Championship, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following play. A tie for first place in any other flight will be broken by a scorecard playoff as recommended by USGA procedure.

NOTE: Round 1 pairings will be created and published after registration has closed. Round 2 pairings and starting times will be based on flights and scores from Day 1.
Flights:
Flights will be determined after registration has closed. A team will be assigned to a flight based on the lower Handicap Index® of the two team members at the deadline. A Flight Report will be published after flights have been established.
Practice Rounds:
Practice rounds may be available at the host facility on a space available basis.
Driving Range:
Range balls will be provided prior to play each day. The range will be open at least 60 minutes prior to play.
