Golf Carts (Optional): $40/team
The use of a golf cart is permitted for this event. Carts may be prepaid online at the time of registration or at any time prior to registration closing. Or, it may be paid on-site on the day of the tournament.
Entry is open to any female amateur golfer:
(1) Who is currently an Associate Member of the MGA at the club from which they are playing and
(2) Whose club is a current Member Club of the MGA.
An entry may be rejected at the discretion of the Committee at any time, including after the competition has closed.
NOTE: For eligibility purposes, an MGA Associate Member through the MGA Join On-Line (JOL) program must have a Minnesota connection in addition to JOL membership in order to participate. Examples of connections would be a MN resident (permanent or seasonal), a non-resident student at a MN school, and/or an MGA course connection, validated by a course employee and/or score posting record. The Committee's decision on such a connection and eligibility is final.
Teams are comprised of two players. Each player will play from the teeing area, and the team selects which ball it wishes to play. Both players play from that new spot with the team again selecting the ball they wish to play. This format continues until the ball is holed and repeated on each hole. NOTE: The first player should NOT tap in a putt if their partner has a putt remaining for a lower score. In the event of a tie for first in any flight, either for NET or GROSS, the tie will be broken by using a scorecard playoff following the recommended USGA procedure.
8:30 am shotgun - Flights 1 - 5
1:00 pm shotgun - Flights 6 - 10
NOTE: Flights will be assigned to one of the two shotgun starts after registration has closed.
Flights will be determined after registration has closed. A team will be assigned to a flight based on the lower Handicap Index® of the two team members at the deadline. A Flight Report will be published after flights have been established.
Practice rounds are TBD.
Range balls will be provided prior to play each day. The range will be open at least 60 minutes prior to the first tee time.
