CHASKA, Minn. (Aug. 9, 2024) – The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced tee times for the first two rounds of the 124th U.S. Amateur Championship, Monday (Aug. 12) and Tuesday (Aug. 13), at 7,552-yard, par-72 Hazeltine National Golf Club and at 6,804-yard, par-70 Chaska Town Course, in Chaska, Minn.
The U.S. Amateur consists of 36 holes of stroke play on Aug. 12 and 13, after which the 312-player field will be reduced to the low 64 scorers. Six rounds of match play begin on Aug. 14 and the championship concludes with a 36-hole championship match on Aug. 18, starting at 7:15 a.m. CDT. The U.S. Amateur champion receives a full exemption into the 2025 U.S. Open Championship, 2025 Open Championship, and a likely invitation to the 2025 Masters Tournament.
